Los Angeles native Ari Jacobs earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Art Center College of Design. Her career started with editorial and portrait photography before the entertainment industry called upon her for graphic design work and art department coordinating. Ari has compiled a California Landscape series that captures the diverse terrain of her home state. From Sonoma’s Wine Country, to the deserts of Death Valley, to the forests of Sequoia, to the winding Pacific Coast Highway, to the majestic Sierra Mountains, the series uses negative space to convey the vastness of the environment, creating a painterly quality. Her artistic contributions have been showcased on network television programs such as "Undeclared" and "The Bernie Mac Show," as well as the feature film “Knocked Up” and the upcoming “Funny People,” starring Adam Sandler. Her husband, Adam, and twins, Macy and Reece, are her biggest fans. |
