HG Arts is a full-service art consulting firm working with interior designers, architects and corporate clients to create dynamic interiors with fine art, open editions, custom giclées, stylish framing options, wallcoverings and dimensional artwork.
We work closely with our clients to identify objectives, schedule and specifications that achieve their overall design direction. Leveraging our industry experience, we suggest options and methods that integrate art, framing, mirrors and wall coverings into any project, regardless of scope.

What We Do Best:
Art and Framing Consultation
Qualified art consultants work in close collaboration with owners, interior designers and purchasing professionals. The design team’s approach includes one art consultant and one project manager to provide flexible and functional solutions. Our consultants will:
- Complete a full project assessment
- Provide full written specifications
- Customize and cater to the specific design requirements
- Create interior design driven artwork packages
- Customize artworks and mirrors to specification
Our consultants are available to walk-thru a project with the designer or client and assess the needs and design plan. The on-site visit can assist the client with determination of:
- Project Scope - HG will work with the client to determine the primary areas including guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, restaurants, spas and meeting rooms that will require artwork, mirrors, lighting and accessories.
- Demographics - HG will work with the design team to determine the artwork most appropriate to the region and demographic of the property.
- Project Requirements - HG will clearly outline the number of framed fine artworks and mirrors that will be included in the project with detailed specifications sheets and floor plans for client approval.
- Budget Development - HG will work with the client to develop a comprehensive budget for the approved artwork plan proposal. Delivery in the Orlando area is included in the budget.
- Timeline - HG requires an 8 week production schedule once the project has been approved and a deposit has been made.
HG Arts was founded in 1981 to meet the art and framing needs of the hospitality industry. Russell A. Glotfelty was invited to join HG in 1984. Soon HG expanded to satisfy the needs of the interior design industry as well as the hospitality and commercial trades. In 1987 HG entered into a new market and began selling originals and limited editions and providing art consulting services. Under Russell's leadership, HG is moving in new directions and expanding into art publishing, giclee printing, and high resolution capture.

Russell A. Glotfelty president and ceo

Russell A. Glotfelty is originally from Atlanta, GA. He began his career at HG Arts in 1984. Over the last two decades, Russell has been responsible for art direction and sales development at HG as the firm’s CEO and President. Under his direction, Russell has consistently expanded HG’s capabilities by adopting the latest in printing technology and seeking out new ways to bring art into interior spaces. He’s pushed the firm’s creative boundaries by establishing Studio HG, a working artists’ studio, and has also developed a visionary new line of custom wall coverings called Tickled Orange Papers. Most recently, Russell launched Bad Dog Editions, a new breed of Program Art. Highly respected in the art and framing industry, Russell has served on many major art publishers, mat board and moulding selection committees. He has been published in numerous interior design and art-oriented publications as an industry expert and leader. Russell is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with degrees in Art History and Business. He is currently a member of ASID, NEWH and PPFA.

Brooke Raymond vp of business development

Brooke is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Public Relations and Art History. Her career began at the Savannah College of Art and Design as the Sales and Marketing Director for the Exhibitions Department. Brooke later joined the Kessler Collection as Corporate Director of Art Galleries and grew to love hospitality design.
In 2006 she joined HG Arts in new business development. Brooke works closely with CEO Russell Glotfelty on HG’s long term vision as a leading hospitality art consulting firm. Together they’ve built lasting relationships with the top players in hospitality development and design.
Jennifer Filippone client relations
Jennifer is originally from the Philadelphia area, but has lived in the Orlando area for more than 30 years. She developed an interest in Interior Design and Fashion at an early age. During middle and high school, Jennifer preferred to save her lunch money to buy trinkets to decorate her room. She followed her passion for creating beautiful surroundings and studied Interior Design at Seminole State College. While in school she worked for Ethan Allen and Ashley furniture and those experiences led her to work in the industry as a visual merchandiser for more than 10 years.
For the past 5 years she has been managing auctions for high end furniture, art, rugs, and statuary. The position required extensive travel throughout the United States which gave her an in-depth understanding of the trends pertaining to art and décor within different regions. She has represented products on both a retail and wholesale platform and has extensive experience setting up trade shows as well as retail showrooms. Jennifer has a deep appreciation for interior design and fashion as well as architecture. She enjoys traveling abroad and is inspired by the art and architecture of Europe. Designers that resonate with her are Christopher Guy and Coco Chanel and her favorite painters are Salvador Dali and Leonid Afremov.

Chris Buonomo marketing director

Chris is a native Floridian and is proud to call Orlando his home. He graduated from the
University of Central Florida in 2001 with a B.A. in Anthropology. Over the past decade,
Chris has marketed design services to a broad range of entertainment, hospitality,
and healthcare clients. Most recently, he held the position of Multimedia Manager with
the international engineering firm, Exp. During this time, he also founded Diverge Media,
a freelance electronic marketing and design company. His specialties are Identity and
Branding, Web Design, CRM and Email Marketing, and the development of interactive
publications and multimedia.
A true creative at heart, Chris has been involved in the theatre, fiction writing, sculpture,
mosaics, and fine carpentry/furniture-building. He also loves immersing himself in
different cultures through travel and exploration. Above all, he brings fresh energy and
a genuine enthusiasm for design to HG’s Marketing Department.
Ashley Baldwin director of operations

Ashley joined the HG team in April 2005 as a shrink-wrapper and was promoted to sales assistant in November 2005. Since then she has held the position of inventory clerk and most recently as a project manager. Originally from Atlanta, GA, Ashley attended high school in Orlando and has recently found herself at Seminole State College pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Her goal in acquiring a degree in Interior Design is as a tool to aid in the art industry. “If I go to school for what HG’s clientele does, it will help me better understand their thinking when they come in to select artwork.”

Chris was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He began his career as an Education Director/Teacher for a cultural arts center in Athens, Ohio. At the same center he acted as curator for children’s art and ceramic shows. He was a program director for ceramic summer workshops where he taught Art to special needs children, through a program called “Playing with Fire”. Chris received a degree in General Fine Art in 1993 from the Maryland Institute, College of Art.

Star was born and raised in Fremont, OH. She attended Columbus College of Art & Design and graduated with a BFA in Film & Photography. After school she worked as a studio photographer, graphic designer and DJ. She has lived in 4 states and currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI. She always carries a camera and sketchbook with her wherever she goes. In her spare time she enjoys painting, writing poetry and short stories and reading as many books as time allows.
Deborah Zwayer art consultant

Deborah Zwayer is an artist at heart with a head for business and an eye for great design. As a studio-trained Artist herself, she has represented award-winning commercial artists for over 15 years. Having also studied Interior Design, her career naturally evolved into Architecture and Design where she has developed many trusted client relationships.
Laurin VanBeukering senior project manager

Laurin was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan. She began expressing her creativity at a young age and that creative spirit carries on through all aspects of her life. As a child, she was very active in competitive gymnastics and later celebrated national success in equestrian competition. Laurin chose a career in Interior Design so she could to follow her creative passion. She received her BAA from Central Michigan University, where she also studied construction management and art. After graduation, she established her own design business in Michigan and went back to school to focus on Business Management. In 2011 she relocated to Orlando for a change of pace and found herself here at HG Arts. Laurin's background in design, construction, business management, and her expertise incorporating materials, finishes, and artwork into a cohesive design story make her a strong asset for our organization.
Tara LaManna senior project manager

Tara was born in Youngstown, Ohio. In 2003 she relocated to Orlando to further her career. She joined the HG Arts team in 2007 as a Design Assistant and her role has consistently grown along with the company. In her position as Senior Project Manager, she relies on her 10+ years of real-world Hospitality and Management experience to guide her team in the creation of innovative art solutions for all of our markets. Her broad educational background includes an A.A. in Natural Sciences, manicurist licensing in two states, and she is currently a certified Health Coach focusing on Integrative Nutrition. To supplement her design knowledge, Tara has taken a number of studio art classes including design, color theory, printmaking and matting and framing.
Carrie Lewis project manager

Carrie was born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and raised in DeLand, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida in 1997. Post-graduation she continued her education in various Studio Art classes, focusing in Art Therapy. Her experience in the art industry began in 1996 when she worked as a studio manager and artist assistant at a local fine art studio. There, she consulted with interior designers, residential and commercial clients, and architects. Carrie specializes in painted finishes in acrylics and oils and has educated students in color studies. Carrie began her Art Consulting and Project Management career at HG Arts in 2004. She leverages her background in Psychology and Art Therapy to help support the findings of Evidence-Based Design while creating innovative and unique art solutions for our Healthcare clients. Carrie is also an integral part of our Residential design team, partnering with world-class, visionary designers to produce truly inspired interiors for many high-end private residences and spec homes.
Sorcha Baty project manager

Sorcha was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Art History and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Affairs from Florida State University in 2008. Post-graduation she worked in a premier art gallery in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida until moving to Atlanta to pursue her Masters in Arts Administration. While in Atlanta she began working with a boutique art consulting firm where she specialized in hospitality commercial clients. As she begins her new role with HG Arts she is excited to bring her passion for design and creativity to each and every project.
Josh Gregg project manager

Josh was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, but moved to Florida at a very young age. Throughout junior and senior high school, Josh was always exploring the arts. After winning several young artist competitions, Josh continued his creative endeavors into college. After receiving an Associate’s Degree in Fine Art, he moved to Orlando for a culture change, and attended the University of Central Florida. While studying at UCF, Josh featured his artwork in museums, galleries, bars, and juried art festivals. He received a BA in Studio Art, and continued his education, later receiving a BFA in Painting. Josh continues to showcase his artwork throughout Central Florida, while building relationships and networking with the art community.
Dabney Valtinson junior project manager

Dabney was born and raised in Ocala, Florida spending a lot of time on and in the water growing up. She pursued B.S. degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History from Florida State University. She also holds an A.S. degree in Interior Design. Dabney is very passionate about art and interiors and has loved working with both over the last 30 years. She's been a valuable member of the HG Arts team for over two years and volunteers her free time to serve as the Professional Development Director for the ASID Florida North Chapter Board.
Justine Santiago junior project manager

Justine was born & raised in San Diego, California. She moved to Orlando in July 2010 with her parents, she joined the HG team February 2013 as the receptionist and was promoted to a project coordinator in May 2013. She has enjoyed learning the custom framing industry and looks forward to learning much more in her career. When she's not at work, Justine loves spending time with her family and friends.
