Charles Marklin was born and raised in Long Island, NY where he began training at the New York Institute of Technology.  He then continued his studies at the Ringling School of Art and Design, where he earned his BFA in Fine Arts/Illustration.  Since attending school Charles has been getting a hands on experience living in New York City and in Orlando Florida where he currently resides.  He is now working on his artistic career by both exhibiting his fine art work and working for his co-owned company METRO Finishes.  METRO Finishes is an award winning art & design company established in 2001, specializing in high-end faux finishes, decorative techniques and murals.
