T.S. Kist has worked with a variety of influences to help inspire visual content. Social, medical, and popular references have provided narrative and symbolic imagery in much of her work. This current body of work explores the abstract definition of the term control, minimizing the narrative and emphasizing the process.

Works range from acrylic and graphite on paper to installations of latex on walls.  Works have been exhibited in the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, galleries in Maryland, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and in several spaces throughout her current city of Savannah. In addition to various local publications, T.S. was nationally published in
New American Paintings in 2006.

Born in Washington D.C., her mother (who is also a painter) taught Kist to be an artist at a very young age. Kist moved to Savannah, GA in 2003 where she earned a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art & Design. Still residing in Savannah, she currently teaches youth art classes from her home studio in addition to pursuing her painting career.
