Sisa is a contemporary artist living in Dallas Tx, born in 1972 in Pampa, Tx but lived most of her life in Amarillo, Tx.

This self-taught artist won her first art contest at the tender age of eleven and was awarded the National Donrey Award in 1983.  Her award winning painting was published and placed on billboards, made front page news, and articles were written and placed in several magazines about the newly found child prodigy.  In 1986, she won the Federal Express Safety Slogan Art Contest and was immediately enrolled into college art classes to pursue her destiny of becoming a “famous artist”.

Dallas proved to be an ideal market for her and now averages two shows per year. Her work seems to be a sort of journal in paint. The titles of the paintings are also suggestive of this.  They are not narrative but evoke a state of mind, a feeling about what's going on around her.   She paints in varying mediums including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, metal leafing, gouache, and charcoal and various sub straights such as canvas, board, paper, and acrylic.
