Amy Bouse first concentrated her studies on literature, then photography.  She remains fascinated by the concept of capturing narrative in a single scene or moment.  Although her work is no longer overtly figurative, her paintings maintain their interest in human stories.  Her work is equally informed by an abiding affection for the medium of paint.  Amy has shown her work throughout the United States. Her paintings reside in public and private international collections.
