Rebecca Bishop was born in Southern California and was educated at University Irvine where she studied under notable artist John Laddie, Dill, Tony Delap, Craig Kauffman, John Mason and Ed Moses. She holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts as well as a Bachelors degree in Art History. Influenced by the combination of Art and Landscapes of Burle Marx she returned to Cal Poly Pomona to obtain a Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture. She has been employed for the last 24 years with Walt Disney Imagineering where she takes a painterly approach in creating 3 dimensional themed spaces.

Her work can be found in Disneyland’s Tokyo, Florida, Paris and California. She recently returned to her roots to paint 2 dimensionally exploring oil pastels as her medium of choice.
